|Some of those who taught and learned at Curtis Field:
What's New at the Museum:
* Who remembers COX STUDIO - Brady, TX? It was owned by Hugh Cox who was a long time
business man in Brady! We have a fascinating mix of pictures - from head shots to beauty
queens - from around 1939. Not knowing who most of the subjects are, puts us in a bind! We
need your help identifying the names that go with the faces! Please stop by and look to see if you
see a familiar face!! UPDATE: Some of the people in the pictures have been identified, but there
are many more to be identified!
* Thank you Jean McSwain for bringing in the items belonging to Ross McSwain! The high chair,
Texaco jacket from the 1950's, the typewriter used while he worked at the San Angelo Standard
Times and the picture of his mother, Elizabeth Griffin McSwain, who is wearing the wedding
dress we already have displayed, is a wonderful addition to our museum.
* HAVE YOU SEEN OUR NEW CHUCK WAGON??? It is worth seeing!
|Come by and see the history we have here in Brady!

** That the museum always welcomes items as gifts, but what if you just can't
part with it?? We can take it as a loan for as long as you wish, so it can
